Dr Taher Rashid has been a restorative and cosmetic dentist in private practice for over 13 years. He grew up in Sunbury-on-Thames and gained his BDS dental degree from the prestigious Turner Dental School in Manchester. Having worked in both Guildford and London he moved to Farnham to raise a family and continue his passion for dentistry. His empathy allows him to really understand his patients and establish a great rapport by listening to what they want. He is a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) and regularly meets with others at the forefront of this field both from the USA and UK.

Dr Rashid frequently attends conferences delivered by the world’s most respected facial aesthetic, restorative and cosmetic clinicians to ensure that he is providing the most advanced facial aesthetic and dental care available.  He is a certified Facial Wrinkle Clinician, 6 month smiles, Clear smile braces, Inman aligner and Invisalign provider which are the latest treatments for straightening teeth with invisible braces for adults.

Dr Ian Seddon (BDS Manc) Implant Surgeon GDC: 64868

Built on Ian’s philosophy that you come first, he makes it a priority that you are listened to and are offered the best options available. The team ensure you feel truly understood offering reassurance at every stage ensuring you receive a first class service from start to end. Ian can also offer intravenous sedation if you feel particularly anxious, this means that the overall experience can be a lot more positive and enjoyable for you. Ian qualified as a dentist in 1989 from Manchester and has worked solely in implant surgery for the last 20 years. He has lectured throughout the UK and across Europe and clinically mentors fellow dentists. He has published papers benefiting his colleagues.

Ian understands what a big decision you are making when deciding to have implant surgery. He prides himself on the fact that he can empathise with the emotions you are feeling.

Dr Phil Gardiner (BDS, BSc hons) Implant Surgeon GDC 177906

Phil Gardiner graduated from King’s College Dental Institute and spent eight years in NHS and private practice where he developed an affinity for restorative dentistry. This progressed to Phil undertaking his introductory and advanced implantology training at the Dentale clinic before becoming a full time implant dentist.

Phil is now further advancing his skill and knowledge at the Royal College of Surgeons by studying for an advanced diploma in implantology, awarded by the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (FGDP)”

Phil is very much a gentle giant. He focuses on what your goals are so that he can fully understand your needs in order to provide your treatment options. He knows what makes patients nervous so he can help you if you are anxious with his calm and reassuring manner.

As well as dentistry Phils passion is for his family and church.

Amanda Brooks Practice Manager

Amanda has worked in dentistry for 15 years and has a wealth of experience to bring to Time Dental. She ensures the smooth running of the practice both behind the scenes as well as at reception. She enjoys meeting people and will greet you in reception with a friendly smile and a glass of wine, if you so desire!!

Amanda is a local in Farnham and has been here most of her life. In her spare time she enjoys horse riding and loves to potter about in her garden. She also volunteers at the local Leonard Cheshire Home, Bells Piece.

Mandy Borthwick Dental Hygienist GDC: 178786

Mandy Borthwick graduated with a merit from the Eastman Dental Hospital in London.  She was awarded the Oral B award for academic excellence and she attained a distinction for her Diploma in Oral Health Education.  She has a keen interest in providing gentle hygiene therapy and tailoring her oral health programmes to meet her patient’s needs.

Mandy has vast experience in customer care having worked as cabin crew and providing a first class service is the back bone to her work ethic. In her spare time she enjoys salsa dancing and painting.

Pipa Hammond Dental Nurse GDC: 155425

Pipa is our dental nurse. She has been qualified and registered with the GDC for 10 years. She has a real passion for her job and assists clinically as well as on reception as a valuable member of the team. She feels a big part of her role is to make all or patients feel welcome and comfortable when in the treatment room. Originally from Kent, Pipa has lived in Surrey for over 10 years now. She loves the countryside and enjoys long walks with her husband. When she’s not multitasking at Time Dental she also enjoys cooking and baking, watching the latest film releases and reading in her spare time.
